Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives

1. VISION

“The realization of a superior and innovative Agribusiness Management postgraduate study program at the national and global levels, oriented to the interests of the nation and the welfare of society based on Pancasila”.

This is in line with the Vision of Universitas Gadjah Mada and is based on concepts and strategies in developing and advancing science and technology to support development in the field of agribusiness. This vision is in accordance with the agribusiness system approach in economic development through the development of science and technology, the business world, industry, organizational culture, organizational value, high competence and meeting national and global standards of excellence.

2. MISSION

To realize the above Vision, the Mission of MMA UGM is as follows:

  1. In the field of education : Educating Master level students in the field of agribusiness management who are able to play an active role in agribusiness development at the national and international levels.
  2. In the field of research : Carrying out research and studies for the development of knowledge of new concepts and thoughts in the field of agribusiness management and disseminating at the national and international levels.
  3. In the field of service : Applying the concept of renewal and scientific studies through consultation, cooperation, training and assistance for decision makers, the community and the business world in the field of agribusiness.

3. GOALS

In accordance with the vision and mission, the goal of MMA UGM is to make MMA UGM an institution of higher education in agribusiness that excels at the national and international levels through:

  1. Quality agribusiness management higher education in order to produce excellent and competent graduates who have the spirit of Pancasila.
  2. Research activities in the field of agribusiness management that are environmentally sound and responsive to the problems of society, nation and state based on local superiority values and disseminated at the national and international levels.
  3. Community service that is able to encourage the independence and welfare of the community in a sustainable manner.
  4. Strategic, synergistic and sustainable cooperation with partners.

With the objectives of the study program, MMA-UGM graduates are expected to meet the needs of professionals in the field of agribusiness management which are increasing in number and increasingly stringent qualifications.

4. OBJECTIVES

In accordance with the Vision, Mission and Objectives, the objectives of MMA UGM are as follows:

  1. Producing graduates who have the ability to develop and update knowledge in the field of agribusiness management with an average GPA of 3.00.
  2. Disseminate research results in the field of agribusiness management in various national and international forums.
  3. Annually carry out cooperation and community service with public.
